The lip lift is not suitable for everyone, and it is important for the surgeon to assess facial proportions in order to avoid creating an artificial appearance.

The Surgery
As such, it can be performed under local anesthesia and lasts for about 1 hour. The surgeon will make precise millimeter drawings before numbing the lip.

After the Surgery
The upper lip will be swollen for about ten days, and it is recommended to apply ice. Pain is mild and well relieved with analgesics.
The scar is hidden under the lip and will fade with time.
